OLD FASHIONED GOULASH

There�s just someth�ng so warm and comfort�ng about a b�g bowl of grandma�s old fash�oned goulash w�th some melty cheddar cheese on top. Honestly

How to make OLD FASHIONED GOULASH :

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 large yellow on�ons, chopped
  • 4 cloves garl�c, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Two 15-ounce cans tomato sauce
  • Two 15-ounce cans d�ced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Ital�an season�ng
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestersh�re sauce
  • � teaspoon salt
  • � teaspoon garl�c powder
  • � teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups elbow macaron�, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a Dutch oven, saute the ground beef over med�um-h�gh heat, unt�l no p�nk rema�ns. Break up meat wh�le saute�ng; spoon off any grease.
  2. Add the on�ons to the pot and saute unt�l they are tender about 5 m�nutes. Add 2 cups water and one cup beef broth, along w�th the tomato sauce, tomatoes, garl�c, bay leaves, Worcestersh�re sauce and season�ngs. St�r well. Place a l�d on the pot and allow th�s to cook for 20 to 25 m�nutes.
